🏝️ Ereikoussa (Diapontia Islands)

Ereikoussa is one of the three Diapontia Islands (along with Mathraki and Othonoi), located northwest of Corfu. It is the “greenest” of the three, filled with olive trees, cypress trees, and lush vegetation.

You can reach it by boat from Sidari or Agios Stefanos (depending on the season), with a journey time of approximately 40–60 minutes. There are also daily boat excursions available (with or without a guide).

Ideal for a day trip.

🥾 Corfu Trail

The Corfu Trail is a long-distance hiking route of approximately 220 km, crossing the island from south (Lefkimmi) to north (Agios Spyridonas).

Created in 2001 by British hikers, it is one of the best ways to experience the authentic side of Corfu. The trail passes through Agios Georgios Pagon, Agios Stefanos, Avliotes, Perithia, and reaches Mount Pantokrator.

You’ll walk through olive groves, forests, old paths, and traditional villages, often with stunning views of the Ionian Sea and Albania.

  • Follow yellow markers (not always perfectly maintained)
  • Use GPS or an offline hiking app
