🚰 Water

Tap water is not drinkable. Please do not use it for cooking, the coffee machine, or the iron.

A bottle of water is provided in the refrigerator for your arrival.

☀️ Hot Water

The property uses a solar water heater, so no action is required from your side.

❄️ Air Conditioning

For proper operation of the air conditioning, please keep the balcony door closed (for both sides)

🚽 Sewage System

We use a biological wastewater system. Please do not throw paper or any other items into the toilet.

A small bin is provided next to the toilet for this purpose.

🚿 Sand & Outdoor Shower

Before entering the apartment from the beach, please rinse off the sand using the outdoor shower.

Akrotiri – The cape between the benches of Arilla and Agio Stefano, The café, with the same name, is well worth a visit, especially at sunset, when the horizon casts pastel shades of myriad colours, across the shimmering Ionian Sea, as you sit back and relax with a cocktail and watch nature’s lightshow at its finest
  • Erikoussa Island

Erikoussa is one of the three Diapontian Islands (along with Mathraki and Othonoi), located northwest of Corfu. It’s the greenest of the three, full of olive trees, cypresses, and lush vegetation.

Could get by boat from Sidari or Agios Stefanos Avlioton (depending on the season), The trip takes around 40 to 60 minutes. There are also day trips available by boat (with or without a guide).

The “jewel” of Corfu with its incomparable beauty, on the top.of the village you will find one of the oldest monastery in Corfu, it is dated 1225.

  • Barbati village

  • Corfu Trail – The Island’s Signature Hiking Route

The Corfu Trail is a 220 km long hiking path that crosses the entire island of Corfu from south (Lefkimmi) to north (Agios Spiridon). It was created in 2001 by British hikers and offers a unique way to discover Corfu’s authentic character.

Passes through Agios Georgios Pagon, Agios Stefanos, Avliotes, Perithia, and reaches up to Pantokratoras Mountain. Trails go through olive groves, forests, old paths, and abandoned villages. Many sections offer stunning views of the Ionian Sea and Albania.

Markings: Yellow signs or ribbons on trees and rocks (not always perfect, so having GPS or a hiking app is recommended). bring with you Water, snacks, a hat, sturdy shoes, Offline GPS app or map (like Maps.me or AllTrails).

1. In Arillas there are some very important farmers who provide a vast amount of vegetables all year round, distributing them to the whole Island.The most popular products are the famous Arillas tomatoes and artichokes.

2. In Arillas there are no big resort hotels but only small, local, family-owned enterprises, owned by people, most of whom, were born or have grown-up in Arillas.

3.The beach changes shape and size almost every week!It all depends on the conditions of the wind, waves and currents.

4.Opposite Arillas there is a small island called Gravia.It is actually a formation of three islands, Gravia, Sykia and Gyneka

5.The petrified boat of Odysseus!If you look far in to the North West towards Mathraki island, you will see a small rock that looks like a sail, its name is ‘Karavi’ which means ‘a boat’. It has taken it’s name from the mythological story of the petrified boat from Homer’s odyssey. Odysseus was found stranded outside a bay near a small river by Nausika and her friends. They helped him and took him to the Kindom of Alkinoos, where he was taken care of and given food, until he was totally recovered. Only then was he asked who he was and where he came from.Odeuseus was the first recorded visitor to Corfu who was treated with the practice of ‘Philoxenia’.The art of helping and looking after a stranger.
